In this world of changing education methods and new digital teaching ideas, we would like to invite you to
a unique opportunity happening in your area. The Japan Association for Language Teaching (JALT) will be
having our annual international conference on November 12-14, at the Fukuoka International Conference
Center. This conference is expected to be Japan’s largest gathering of language educators in Japan. JALT
represents teachers ranging from primary, secondary, university and language school levels of language
education. We are cordially inviting you to free access to the Educational Materials Exhibition (EME)
located on the second floor of the conference.
The EME is a 1320-square-meter space containing publishers and representatives from all aspects
pertaining to language teaching and continuing education from all over the world. Please visit the EME
to talk with our Associate Members and learn about the latest ideas and methods in language
education. The EME is open:
● Saturday, Nov. 12 (9 AM - 6 PM (18:00))
● Sunday, Nov. 13 (9 AM - 3:30PM (15:30))
Also, for a fee, you have the opportunity to join our conference and have full access to the on-site
presentations by international researchers.

Feel free to make copies of this letter and pass them around to your colleagues who are interested in
attending this event. Bring this letter to the registration desk on the first floor of our conference in
exchange for a conference badge that will give you access to the EME only.

英語教育関係者の皆様へ
昨今新しいデジタル教育のアイデアが続々と生まれています。全国語学教育学会（JALT）
は、11月12日から14日にかけて、福岡国際会議場にて年次国際大会を開催いたします。当
大会は、言語教育関係者の集まりとしては日本最大級のイベントです。JALTには初等教育
、中等教育、大学、語学学校など、様々なレベルの言語教育関係者が参加しています。こ
のたび、言語教育に興味がおありの方を、会議場二階で開催される教材展示会に無料でご
招待いたします。
教材展示会には、1320平方メートルのスペースに、世界各国から言語教育に関わるあらゆ
る分野の出版社、代理店担当者が出展いたします。教材展示会にぜひお越しいただき、言
語教育における最新のアイデアやメソッドについて知見を深めていただければ幸いです。
