Mr.

Suvash from DeHaat visited Begusarai on 22 nd October 2021 and had a meeting at DPCU,
Begusarai regarding their interest in providing support to Dhanyak FPC, Begusarai and AE
intervention to be specific.

He shared that DeHaat is working in Bihar from past several years and now working in multiple
states of India. The organisation is providing support to grass-root level farmers by promoting One
Stop Solution as “Dehaat Centres”. These centres are run by dedicated entrepreneurs selected by
the organisation through their own process. This centre actually provides required inputs to farmers
in season as per their requirement and procure their produce after harvesting. The centre also
provide basic crop advisory to farmers. DeHaat also developed Mobile Application through which
orders can be placed by Dehaat Centres and another application through which farmers can seek
technical knowledge regarding crop advisory. This enables a constructive environment in the nearby
area/villages where the centre is operational.

The organisation is willing to support SHG members/ farmers by ensuring timely supply of all kind of
agri inputs (seeds, fertilisers, pesticides etc). The organisation will also provide a platform through
which interested SHG members/ farmers can sale their produce (wheat/maize/ paddy/ mustard /
soybean etc). This way Dehaat would be providing support in both input as well as output sectors.

They offered to onboard the FPC as their Dehaat Centre for which FPC should register by paying
around 15000 INR, to which we suggested to waive off the charges for Jeevika FPC and come up with
a detail plan and MoU so that together we can explore how benefits can be generated for SHG
members/ farmers in Jeevika.

Please find attached a basic plan shared by Mr. Suvash on 5th January 2022.
