analyze a literary text, “The Road Not Taken”
by Robert Frost.

graphic organizers,

1.Introduce the poem
2.Distribute copies of the poem to each student.
3. Underline words, phrases , or lines that stand
out to them.
3. They can also circle any literary devices they
notice, such as metaphors, similes, or
personifications.

5. Let the students write a paragraph
summarizing the main ideas of the poem and
explaining how the poet uses literary devices to
convey his message.
