1. Introduction
Gaming is becoming more and more popular over the decades and the game business is
booming. People play games to relax, to be better at competitive games, or simply just to kill
time. Therefore, the game industry has become one of the most sizeable (and interesting)
businesses in the world. New games are introduced to players every day by Unity game
companies and corporations, and news about game release dates pops up in every social
media and advertisement.

As a result, more programmers and developers are taking an interest in game

development and design, but not everyone knows where to start as the skills needed are vast
and varied. Most find game development intimidating because of the number of skills and
knowledge needed to make a game: programming, animation, sound design, and environment
art; this is the fundamental knowledge to make a game. Not everyone has all these skills on
their hands, and that is why triple-A games are developed by big teams (or game studios)
such as Ubisoft, Naughty Dog, Square Enix, and CD Projekt Red but that does not mean an
individual cannot make good games by themselves. Many Unity game developers create
astonishing games like Among Us by Marcus, and Quick Hit Football by Jeffrey Anderson.

Project “Ball Bricks” is about developing the game with prior knowledge of Python and
using ‘Py game’ which is a cross-platform set of Python modules designed for writing video
games.
2. Literature Survey

1.Arkanoid

block breaker arcade game developed and published by Taito. In North America, it was
published Controlling a paddle-like craft known as the Vaus, the player is tasked with
clearing a formation of colourful blocks by deflecting a ball towards it without letting the ball
leave the bottom edge of the playfield. Some blocks contain power-ups that have various
effects, such as increasing the length of the Vaus, creating several additional balls, or turning
the Vaus into a laser cannon. Other blocks may be indestructible or require multiple hits to
break.

Created by Taito designers Akira Fujita and Hiroshi Tsukinos, expanded on the concept
established in Atari's Breakout, a successful game in its own right that was met with a large
wave of similar clone games from other manufacturers. It was part of a contest within Taito,
where two teams of designers had to complete a block breaker game and determine which
one was superior to the other. The film Tron served as inspiration for the game's futuristic,
neon aesthetic. Level designs were sketched on paper before being programmed and tested to
make sure they were fun to play. The enemy and power-up designs were 3D models
converted into sprite art.

Early location tests for A surpassed Taito's initial expectations. It became a major commercial
success in arcades, becoming the highest-grossing table arcade cabinet of 1987 in Japan and
the year's highest-grossing conversion kit in the United States. The game was commended by
critics for its gameplay, simplicity, addictive nature, and improvements over the
original Breakout concept. The game revitalized the genre and set the groundwork for many
games to follow. was ported to many home video game platforms, including the Commodore
64, Nintendo Entertainment System, ZX Spectrum, and (years later) mobile phones, and it
spawned a long series of sequels and updates over the course of two decades.

2. Bricks Breaker Puzzle

Bricks Breaker Puzzle is a fun arcade game that perfectly combines mechanics from popular
games like Space Invaders or Arachnoid and adds an interesting twist to create a game that's
Bricks Breaker Puzzle has a very simple premise: the goal is to try to eliminate all the cubes
in the level before they reach the bottom of the screen. Each cube has a number inside that
shows how many times it has to be hit in order to be eliminated. After you aim carefully, a
burst of balls will fire, one after the other, and rebound off everything in the environment.

Although you can't share your high scores with other players from all over the world or your
friends, any disadvantages of Bricks Breaker Puzzle are totally eclipsed by how fun and
addictive it is.

3. Swipe Brick Breaker

Swipe Brick Breaker: The Blast is an arcade that’s really similar to games like BBTAN and
challenges you to throw balls against a ton of bricks to destroy them all.

Controls in Swipe Brick Breaker: The Blast are really simple: by sliding your finger on the
lower part of the screen you can aim and when you let go, dozens of balls will be released
which will strike and bounce on all the surfaces that they crash against Each time you throw,
the bricks will descend. So, if the bricks ever reach the bottom, you’ll lose the round and
you’ll have to start all over again. Luckily, sometimes you can use special powers.

Swipe Brick Breaker: The Blast is a really entertaining arcade that offers you a frantic and
addicting gaming experience. The game includes enough levels to keep you busy for hours
braking bricks.

3. Problem Statement
The project will mainly focus on the developing a 2D game by using the “Py game”
platform. As there is a growing demand in the game development industry it has led to the
concept of reusability of existing components which will lead to a focus on creativity to
enhance the different versions of the game.
4. Aim & Objective

Aims

This project aims to

 Develop a simple 2D “Ball Brick game”.
 To explore the Py game a cross-platform which is Use to develop a simple 2D game.

Objectives

 To use python modules design to writing video games that can help to focus on the
productivity of the game.
 To provide a user-friendly interface.
5. Proposed System

Working

There is a starting page followed by the main game. If the player drops the ball with the
paddle, then the game over will be displayed on the screen. And if the player manages to
clear all the bricks, then points table will be displayed.

Flow chart
Game System Flow:

 ACTIVITY DIAGRAM OF THE GAME

6. Advantages of Proposed System
1. It is the best project to start with for learning purpose.

2. It is easy to implementation. we will use python.

3. Mobile games helps the player to think about something else other than work. This helps
the brain to refocus and recharge.
4. It enhances the thinking capability and it helps to alleviate stress.
7. Applications.
1. Atari games enhances problem solving skills, this is because they enable player to work
through problems and levels of increasing difficulty.

2. Atari played an integral role in the development of an arcade game, game console and
personal computer industries.

3. Atari games have been played by millions and the brand continuous to bring joy to gamers

4. Games are used to relax and for entertainment purposes.

8. Future Scope
1.In Google Play Store, there are many bricks breaker games example Brick Breaker King,
Brick Breaker Quest and Brick Breaker: Balls Crusher and many brick breakout game is
going to develop.
2. This game is not meant to be the next most sold game but just a platform from which to
learn and maybe inspire someone to be the next most successful developer in the world.
3. It is a widely played mobile game found on various mobile phones. It is equivalent of a
hoop and stick. It is perhaps one of the keys stepping stone in the development of the
videogames industry
4. The advent of breakout therefore not only influenced the direction of the games industry
but inspire the Space invaders, which would go to great financial success.
.
9. Conclusion
Brick Breaker was a successful educational experience. Brick Breaker demonstrated our
learning. People who take time off from work to play brick breaker games may find their
environment to be more enjoyable. By Playing different brick breaker games from Google
Play we can try to implement themselves. It is the best project for learning game
development.
