TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

STANDARD DOOR HANDLES

General
The extended range contains standard door handles as well as high security door handles.

The door handles are non-handed, except for the fixed door handles and door pulls.

The door handles are combined with square spindles 8x8 mm, available in different lengths and which
have to be ordered separately.

The door handle range is partial useful for sliding doors in combination with Pentalock.

Finish: anodised (only short backplate) or polyester powder coated in more than 450 RAL colours.

Standard door handles


The door handles are available with a long and
short backplate (not for Pentalock).

The door handles are available with the


following grips:
- With round design grip
- With round grip
- With lower round grip (roller shutter handle)
- With straight grip
- With extra low roller shutter handle with
straight grip
- With door knob
- With T-shape grip
The door handles on long backplate are
available with or without cylinder hole.
The door handles with cylinder hole have
a centre distance of 92 mm or 97.3 mm.

The door handles on long backplate


have 3 fixing holes:
- Top fixing hole: 21.5 mm or 46 mm
above the grip
- Middle fixing hole: 21.5 mm or 52 mm
(only for Pentalock) below the grip
- Bottom fixing hole: 140 mm below the grip
The door handles on short backplate have 2 fixing holes at 21.5 mm from the grip.

Dimensions (dependent on the version):


- Width backplate: 26.5 mm
- Length short backplate : 66 mm, 91.5 mm, 98 mm
- Length long backplate: 206.5 mm, 210 mm, 221 mm
Total height door handles:
- With round design grip: 71 mm
- With round grip: 68.5 mm
- With lower round grip: 55.5 mm
- With straight grip: 68.5 mm
- With extra low roller shutter handle with straight grip: 29 mm
- With door knob: 56.5 mm
- With T-shape handle: 55 mm
The handle range also contains a number of fixed door handles, door knobs and fixed door pulls on long
backplate.

STANDARD DOOR HANDLES

All door handles are available with standard or concealed (VI) fixing holes. The external door handles have
fixing holes M5 in the backplate and are provided with positioning pins in order to position the door handle
perfectly in front of the internal door handle. Both door handles can be screwed to each other through the
lock in order to get a more solid fixing.

The door handles on short backplate can be combined with an escutcheon with different thicknesses
(3, 4, 5, 6 mm) or with security escutcheon.

High security door handles


High security door handles on the outside, provided with a special
reinforced core and fixing holes for screws M6 making the cylinder
practically unreachable and the long backplate hard to break.

The door handles are tested and approved by the SKG-institute in the
Netherlands and have obtained 2 stars.

The door handles on the outside are also provided with concealed fixing holes (VI) for screws M6 and
positioning pins. The fixing holes on the inside are visible.

The door handles are only available with round grip and are similar to the standard door handles regarding
dimensions and design.

Escutcheons: aluminium

Square spindles
The square spindles 8x8 mm in steel zinc plated are available in different lengths and have to be ordered
separately:
- 30 to 150 mm in steps of 5 mm
- 160, 170, 180, 200, 250 mm
The Pentalock door handles must be provided with square spindles with grooves as extra security against
burglary in case there’s a door handle on both sides of the door.
These spindles are available in the following lengths: 88, 96, 104, 112, 120, 128, 136 mm.
