The Local Government of Amadeo, Cavite, struggles with significant challenges in promoting
active citizen engagement and participation in local governance processes. With the goal of
enhancing the participation of residents in decision-making and examining the underlying causes
of this problem, this study intends to improve the responsiveness and inclusivity of the local
governance structure.

Significant repercussions may arise for the Amadeo neighborhood if the present restrictions on
public participation continue. Lack of involvement can result in poorly informed decisions,
disregard for community needs, and a growing disconnect between the goals set out by the
government and the real desires of the people. The community's general growth and well-being
may be hampered by such a situation, which might cause disillusionment.

To address the challenge of limited citizen engagement, comprehensive research is essential.

According to Blair, H. (2000), their study underline how crucial it is to comprehend the elements
impacting public engagement in local governance and how crucial it is for the local government
to be inclusive, as noted by Diaz et al. (2023). To identify barriers to involvement, evaluate
community needs, and suggest focused solutions, this research will make use of surveys,
interviews, and case studies. To help the Local Government of Amadeo create policies that
support a more responsive and participatory government structure, the research attempts to
synthesize this data and offer practical recommendations.

The Local Government of Amadeo, Cavite is faced with a critical problem involving unequal
distribution of resources across various industries. By examining the underlying reasons of these
disparities and developing solutions for more fair distribution, this study aims to improve
community development and service delivery.

Consequences might be extensive if the current discrepancies in resource distribution continue.

Inadequate financing for some sectors may result in less-than-ideal infrastructure development,
weakened public services, and a rise in socioeconomic disparities in the community. These
differences might impede progress overall, underserving some sections of the population and
feeding a cycle of inequality that affects the community's general well-being.

Using an in-depth study is essential to addressing the problem of resource allocation

discrepancies. Research by Martinez-Vazquez (2011) and Yeeles (2015) emphasize how
important it is to comprehend the variables affecting how local governments allocate their
resources. As part of this study, budgetary trends will be analyzed, interviews with stakeholders
will be conducted, and the historical background of resource allocation will be examined.
Through the synthesis of this data, this study aims to offer the Local Government of Amadeo
practical insights that will support more equitable and inclusive resource allocation and educate
decision-making processes.
