After reviewing the Law Organizing the State Administrative Apparatus of 1975 and its amendments,
Article (1)
The provisions of this law apply to anyone who uses, deals in, or possesses explosive materials in
any way. This applies in particular to trading and contracting companies, import or supply agencies,
and individuals and groups that engage in business related to the materials.
Explosive. The provisions of this law apply to the Sultan’s Armed Forces, with its land, air and sea

Article (6)
Anyone who violates the provisions of this law or its executive regulations shall be punished with a fine not
exceeding three thousand Omani Riyals and imprisonment for a period not exceeding three years, or with one of
these two penalties. The penalty shall be doubled in the event of recidivism. In all cases, the explosives that are
the subject of the violation shall be confiscated . The Inspector General may decide to withdraw any license held
by the violator or his representative. All of this is without prejudice to any more severe penalty stip
Article (7)
All official bodies must take the necessary measures to implement this law.
Article (8)
This law shall be published in the Official Gazette, and shall be effective from the date of its publication.
