Wall Wash Test Criteria.

If the last cargo is not Methanol please do this test.

Tank wall area shall be washed by methanol: 0.25 m2 on each bulkhead. Total area in tank 1
m2.

Methanol volume shall be used for washing: 1 litter/tank

Hydrocarbons NIL ASTM-D-1152
Permanganate time 50 Minutes Max ASTM-D-1363
Appearance Clear, free from suspended matter
Odor Characteristic, free from foreign odor
MTBE 10 ppm Gascromatography

First Foot Sample Test.

The first one-foot sample test should satisfy the undermentioned requirements in order to
ensure the cleanliness of cargo tanks and pipelines.
