did things for the environment such as:

• In 2009, Watson collaborated for free with “People Tree” , a fair-trade

fashion brand, to be the face and designer of an eco-friendly clothing
collection to raise funds for the People Tree Foundation. The collection
was launched in 2010, during an event organized by King Charles, in
favor of environmental awareness.

campaign, with the aim of raising funds for Global Green USA, a non-
governmental organization focused on sustainability and environmental
preservation.

• The actress joined forces with Kering, which is known for its sustainability
efforts in the fashion industry. The company, which announced it would
reduce its carbon footprint in its productions, led the G7 Fashion pact,
which saw 65 brands agree to commitments to improve biodiversity and
protect the oceans. And what is G7? It is a group of very developed and
industrialized countries. These nations have great economic power at an
international level.
