LEGAL ADVISOR REQUIRED
Applications are invited to hire the services of a Legal Advisor in Benazir Income Support
Programme (BISP) initially for a period of two years (extendable subject to satisfactory performance) and
requirement of the programme.
Education LLB from HEC recognized University. LLM degree holders will be given preference.

Experience and a) Valid License to practice law in the lower courts and high courts with at least 10
Skills required years of experience of specifically dealing with Service matters, Arbitration,
Procurement, Civil, Criminal, Rental, Contractual Services / Labour Laws cases,
Recoveries and Tax related cases.
b) Minimum 3 years’ experience of public sector organization.
c) Experience in both contentious and non-contentious areas of legal practice.
d) Enrolled as an Advocate Supreme Court of Pakistan shall be given additional
weightage.
e) Knowledge of practice related to service matters litigation.
f) Fluent in English and Urdu language with strong interpersonal and communication
skills.
g) Able to handle complex legal issues.
h) Commitment to professionalism, discipline and integrity.
i) Ability to meet the deadlines.
j) Have basic knowledge of electronic communication/IT.
Core a. Advise BISP management on all legal and legislative matters.
Responsibilities b. Assist BISP management on all forums in legal matters whenever required.
c. Devise guidelines for expeditious processing of cases.
d. Examine and vet legal documents and assist in documentation of Agreements,
Contracts, Regulations, Joint ventures, Deeds or any other documents which may
create any contractual obligation (Legal opinion on Laws, Rules, Regulations, By-
Laws, Notifications, Circular, Guidelines).
e. Interpret laws and policies as and when required.
f. Any other work assigned by the management.
Age Limit 35 to 50 years till closing date.
