Objectives

1. To identify the benefits derived from poultry.

2. To determine the problems of the industry in the province.

Materials & Procedure

After the preliminary discussion on the status, problems, and production

and management of poultry, the students will conduct an actual survey of the
poultry industry, either semi-commercial or commercial poultry farms in the
province or in regional level relative to the above topics.

Questions to Answer

1. List down and discuss the present status and problems as well as the care
and management practices employed in the poultry farms you have made
the survey.
2. Gather reliable data of the present status of the “Poultry Industry” in the
region from the Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI), Province of Negros
Oriental.
