My Own Philosophy in Teaching

I’d want it to begin with a question: “What is education?”. To me, education is much

more than just teaching the students. As I believe what Mandela said, “Education is the most

powerful weapon that you can use to change the world." This thought is like, as a teacher, I will

be preparing my students for the real world. Helping them to be the best version of themselves.

And with that, I think that education should be learner-centered, acknowledging the

distinct abilities, backgrounds, and futures of every single person. All students are dynamic and

have different experiences and backgrounds. Education emphasizes comprehensive growth while

providing a well-rounded foundation of fundamental information and skills. It should cover not

only academic subjects but also things like social, emotional, and practical aspects of life.

Teaching with an inclusive and learner-centered methodology that supports many learning styles.

Educators should act as facilitators, helping and inspiring students to discover knowledge rather

than simply delivering it. Active learning, collaborative projects, and real-world applications

should be integrated into the educational process. Technology should be used responsibly to

improve learning experiences and offer access to a multitude of knowledge.

In conclusion, teaching philosophy revolves around the learner as an active participant in

their educational journey. With a curriculum that balances academic and holistic development

and a teaching methodology that is inclusive, learner-centered, and prepares students for the real

world, This perspective views education as a lifelong process of progress, exploration, and

empowerment rather than a means to an end.
