Cu piping supporting work

The cu pipes should be laid in the horizontal position and should be


supported well in such a manner that they run in straight line. Fully
threaded GI rods and clamps or adjustable support can be used for
supporting the refrigerant pipes. The pitch of the support should be as
under to avoid sagging in piping.

In addition to these supports, all Y joints


and elbows should be given an extra
supports.
A cut section of min 5”~6” PVC sheet or
pipe should be placed between the
insulation and support to avoid any
damage to insulation.
