4. Procedures
4.1 Introductory Activity ( 5  Prayer
minutes)  Checking Attendance
 Recall the previous topic.
- West Asian Wood Carving
4.2 Activity ( 5 minutes)  Analyze the following pictures.

4.3 Analysis ( 5 minutes) Ask the students.


1. What do you see on the picture?
2. Do you have an idea, what artifacts are these?
3. Is the artifacts the same?

4.4 Abstraction ( 20 minutes) Discuss the commonalities and differences.


(Refer to the concept notes of LAS 3rd Quarter Wk7)

4.5 Application ( 10 minutes) Divide the students into 4 groups.

Mechanics:
1. Group 1 and 2 group will be given a picture of artifacts and explain the
characteristics of the artifacts.
2. Group 3 will tell the similarities of the artifacts.
3. Group 4 will tell the differences of the artifacts.
4.6 Assessment ( 2 minutes) Answer the Activity. (Refer to LAS 3rd Quarter Wk7)

Bring the following materials.


4.7 Assignment ( minutes)
Option 1:
 Glue
 Plain paper plate
 1/8 illustration board
 Pencil
 Colored Sand (if none, you can use glitters/silver dust, saw dust, marble
dust, fabric or poster colour mixed with chalk powder or any availability
found at your home which is similar)

Option 2:
 Soap preferably Ivory or Perla
 Nail pusher
 Knife
 Pencil
 Old newspaper
 Black pentel pen

4.8 Concluding Activity End the class with a quote.
