 Write an email to apologize for not going to lunch and ask for the email
address you need.
Your colleague, Jack Russel, has invited you for lunch at a
conference with Helen Marr but you couldn’t go. Jack is the
only person you know who has Helen’s email address.

Dear Jack Russel

I want to apologize for not being able to attend lunch at the conference with
Helen Marr last Saturday. It was very unprofessional of me not to inform you
in time.
I know how busy you are and that it took you time to plan this lunch with
Helen, so I know the severity of this lack of assistance. I want to assure you
that it will not happen again, I am a serious person and I recognize my serious
mistake.
I am very sorry not to have given advance notice. I am very sorry if I have
caused any problems.
I would like you to provide me with Helen Marr's email. I know Helen is busy
too and I would like to apologize to her.
I would like us to be able to arrange a lunch soon in which the three of us can
attend and so I can also apologize in person

I'm sorry for the inconvenience caused. Thanks for your understanding Jack.
