NGEC 5 QUIZ 1

Answer the given questions

1.Why is it that the sea is salty?

-Ocean salt primarily comes from rocks on land and openings in the seafloor. Salt in the
ocean comes from two sources: runoff from the land and openings in the seafloor. Rocks on
land are the major source of salts dissolved in seawater. Rainwater that falls on land is
slightly acidic, so it erodes rocks.

move to another city to pursue my dreams but I know that this is worth it the time will come
that I can do the things I dreamed about.
3.What is your purpose in life?
- My purpose in life is to make the most of it and to enjoy every moment that I have, I
want to leave the world knowing that people that knows me would consider me as good
friend, best friend, or even a lover. I get up everyday and thank God that he gave me all
the blessing that I have and the good and bad things that I have encountered We
wouldn’t be here because of him he is our Savior and I will always be grateful for him.
4.Who do you love most? Your father or your mother?

The Earth orbits the sun once every 365 days and rotates about its axis once every 24 hours. Day
and night are due to the Earth rotating on its axis, not its orbiting around the sun. The term 'one day' is
determined by the time the Earth takes to rotate once on its axis and includes both day time and night
time.

NGEC 5 QUIZ 4
*What is the importance of language and communication in the process of
Globalization?
-Well for me the importance of language and communication in process of
Globalization is that in order to the world to have a globalization, language and
communication makes an important role to it because if people cannot
communicate well then there will be no globalization, Imagine people without
communication in this world, would there still be a globalization? Would there
still be an improvement? What other general way of using language to
communicate to human to understand it? The whole world is spreading
information. and without proper understanding or communication about it, it is
more like to have difficulty to globalize, because it is the basic need to
international and intercultural social interactions. And also each people have
different countries, language, culture and other variation in order for them to
understand each other so without language and communication they cannot
understand each other and to grow as an interdependence of the world it would
be hard for them to make their economy, culture, and population to grow.
