Nov. 6, Sun.-The Gap Male Chorus will be singing at Cedarville United Methodist Church at 7 p.m. Nov. 9, Wed.-JGA/JBA and Jr. Youth will meet at the Bowmansville Mennonite, from 7-8:30 p.m. JBA will be going on a hayride, JGA will have a Thanksgiving Night, and Jr. Youth will hear from a mission team that recently served in Haiti. Nov. 16, Wed.-Time for our monthly Sewing Circle meeting at Bowmansville Mennonite Church. Our project for this month is Newborn Kits which includes 2 gowns/sleepers (lightweight corron), 2 undershirts/onesies (sleeveless or short or long sleeves), 4 cloth diapers (flat-folded preferred), 1 receiving blanket (mediumweight cotton or flannel) minimum 36 inches, 4 safety pins (2 inches), 1 bar mild soap (minimum 4-5 ounces). Socks and caps provided by Sewing Circle. Dec. 4, Sun.-5 PM - During the Adamstown Community Christmas in the Grove Tree Lighting Ceremony ..., we along with other area churches will be providing a reading of the Biblical Christmas story, familiar carols, and a simple nativity scene,... held in the Adamstown Community Park Grove. Last year this was very well attended by the community. All children in attendance will be invited to sing "Away in the Manger". -If you are interested in purchasing Gene Wenger hamloaf or pork bbq to benefit Woodcrest Retreat, please sign up on the paper on the table in the Narthex. Orders need to be placed by Nov. 10th. Products will be delivered to church on Sun. Nov. 20th. Thank you! -The Missionary Messenger magazine is published every other month by EMM. It contains many interesting and informative stories of how God is working around the world and how our financial support of EMM is helping to build God's kingdom globally. Nov. 6, Sun.-The children and youth from our congregation will present the musical "It's Cool in the Furnace", sharing the account of Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego and the fiery furnace using drama and music. We hope you will enjoy hearing this familiar story presented in a different way.
