TASK 53-10-05-250
6. Forward Pressure Bulkhead (Eddy Current) Special Detailed Inspection
NOTE: This task is a Chapter 4 inspection item.
A. Do the Forward Pressure Bulkhead (Eddy Current) Special Detailed Inspection. Refer to Figure 605.
(1) Remove the instruments, instrument panels, and sundeck/glareshield when necessary to do this inspection. Refer to
Chapter 25, Equipment/Furnishings - General.
(2) Remove the cockpit floor panels when necessary to do the inspection.
(3) Examine for fatigue cracks in the radii of the nested angles on the aft side of the bulkhead around the edge of the bulkhead
with the eddy current method. Refer to the Model 525A/525B Nondestructive Testing Manual, Part 6, Forward and Aft
Pressure Bulkhead.
(4) If a crack is found, repair or replace part as necessary. Refer to the Model 525A/525B Structural Repair Manual, Chapter
51, Crack, Scratch, Gouge And Corrosion for repair information.
(5) Install the cockpit floor panels removed for the inspection.
(6) Install the equipment and furnishings that you removed for this inspection. Refer to Chapter 25, Equipment/Furnishings -
General.
