FAMILIES ARUND THE WORLD

There are many types of families around the


world. The nuclear family: which is composed of
a mother, a father and children who live in the
same house. The extended family consists of the
nuclear family and relatives such as cousins,
grandparents, uncle, and aunt. Besides, there are
lone-parent families which are composed of one
parent and children. The reconstituted families
or step families: they are composed of a step-
mother, a step-father and children.
There are other types of families like
children’s homes and foster homes in which
parentless children live together sharing a home,
like “Hogar de niños golondrinas”

Hello! My name is Michaela García. I’m 11 years old and I live in
Buenos Aires. My day starts at 7:00 in the morning. I get up,
put on my clothes and have breakfast. I drink mate cocido and
eat toasts with jam. Then I brush my teeth. At 7: 45 I go to
school. School starts at 8:00 o’clock. I go home at 12:00 o’clock.
At 12:15 I have lunch. I have, pizza, sandwiches or milanesas.
At 15:00 in the afternoon I watch my favourite programme on TV :
