Materials
1 100g ball of baby dk I used woolcraft baby dk 1/2 a ball
3.5 mm hook
3.mm hook
3 buttons
Abbreviations uk terms
Ch- chain, dc- double crochet,tr-treble ss-slip stitch, tr2tog treble 2 together

Back using 3.5 mm hook

Chain 32 1 tr in 4th ch from hook I tr in each ch till end turn
Row 1 ch 2 1 tr in each tr till end turn (29 tr and 1 ch 2)
Repeat row 1 till 14 rows have been worked fasten off
Front using 3.5 mm hook
Chain 16 1 tr in 4th ch from hook 1 tr in each ch till end turn
Row 1 ch2 1 tr in each tr till end turn (13 tr and 1 ch2)
Repeat row 1 till 8 rows have been worked
Row 9 chain 2 tr2tog 1 tr in each tr to end turn
Row 10 ch 2 tr to last 3 tr2tog 1 tr in last stitch
Repeat row 9 + 10 once more and row 9 once more (8 tr ans 1 ch 2)
Do 1 more row without shaping (14 rows in total) fasten off
Repeat for other front reversing the shaping

Arms make 2 using 3.5 mm hook

Chain 24 1 tr in 4th ch from hook 1 tr in each ch till end (22 tr)
(increase round)
Ch 2 1 tr in same stitch as ch 2 1 tr till end (22tr and 1 ch2)
Increase until there is 25 tr and 1 ch 2 (5 rows in total)
Do 2 more rows without increasing (7 rows in total)fasten off

Cuff using 3 mm hook

With right side facing join at beginning ch 1 1 dc in same stitch ans ch1 1 dc to end
Turn
Repeat 2 more rows 3 rows in total fasten off leaving a long tail for sewing up arms

To make up
Sew shoulder seems. Fold sleeves in half then place fold to shoulder seem pin out a
nd sew together I pinned it for 7 rows down back and front sew sides and sleeves
I used the mattress stitch to join
Turn cardigan to right side

Using 3 mm hook join at bottom left side ch1 1 dc all around bottom 3 dc to turn u
p right front all around neck then down left side 3 dc in corner ss to first dc ch 1 tu

Mark out 3 buttonhole on left or right between row 1 and 8 dc to first marker ch 2
miss a dc, dc to next marker ch2 miss a dc, dc to next marker ch2 miss 1 dc dc all a
round ss to first dc ch1 turn
Dc to first ch2 I dc in ch2 repeat dc all round ss to first dc

Weave in all ends

Add 3 buttons
