Chief Deputy Juvenile Officer
Seventeenth Judicial Circuit, Juvenile Division – Harrisonville, MO November 2022 – Present
• Directly supervise 8-10 full time staff; including the Program Manager, Child Abuse/Neglect Supervisor,
and several Deputy Juvenile Officers
• Read and review referrals from law enforcement and assign to the appropriate Deputy Juvenile Officer
• Review and edit all court work submitted by Deputy Juvenile Officers
• Coordinate case management of hundreds of juveniles in Cass County
• Write and manage 2-3 grants for the circuit, totaling over $110,000 for Fiscal Year 2024
• Serve as on-call supervisor three months per year to respond to urgent incidents that occur outside of
business hours, especially for matters of detention and protective custody
• Participate in the Leadership Team to help guide policies and procedures for the office

• Implemented new and innovative programming to help meet various needs within the Seventeenth Circuit

Greene County Juvenile Office – Springfield, MO
• Managed a caseload of 15-20 juveniles with law or status violations
• Held intake conferences with juveniles and their parents to collect information and build rapport
• Determined appropriate resources for juveniles and made referrals as necessary
• Created treatment plans for the youth and parents to follow while they were under supervision
• Wrote reports for court concerning a youth’s alleged offense(s) and their social history
• Maintained communication with Probation Officers regarding a juvenile’s progress
• Developed a diversion program for low-risk and first-time offenders by identifying community resources
for juveniles as an alternative to bringing them into the system

• Work with JDAI leaders at the state level to develop and implement statewide standards for the use of
detention alternatives and the Missouri Juvenile Detention Assessment (JDTA) form
• Review and log all JDTA forms for Cass and Johnson Counties
• Facilitate all JDAI/JDTA training across the Seventeenth Circuit
• Research and review various detention alternatives to best suit the needs of the youths and families of the

VOLUNTEER EXPEREINCE

Raymore Festival in the Park - Raymore, MO
• Work with a team of 10-15 others to organize the annual Raymore Festival in the Park
• Develop new ideas to progress and modernize the Festival
• Manage social media for the Festival, to include creating content and responding to messages
• Help recruit and coordinate volunteers to work at the Festival
• Assist throughout the weekend of the event, completing any tasks necessary
