THE IMPERATIVE
We use the imperative to give orders. We form affirmative orders with the base form of the
verb. Example Stop him!
We form negative orders with don`t + base form of the verb. Don`t arrest him!

GRAMMAR NOTES EXAMPLES

1. The imperatives use the base form of the verb.
