Week: 11 Lesson/Topic: Latin Dance – RUMBA (Man and Lady)

Complete briefly and honestly each statement in relation to this week’s lesson/topic.

I used to think that Rumba and CHACHA had the same origin of dance since these dance movements are

alike when I saw it in High School.

Now I know that Rumba is the same with CHACHA since they are the same in origin and influences but

CHACHA is a bit faster in tempo, and movements while Rumba is very slow, serious, and can be

considered as a romantic dance that exudes flirtation between the partners.

However, I am not sure about the dance sequences that I am rehearsing for my video presentation right

know.

I hope/plan to schedule daily some free time to rehearse and watch some videos regarding to what dance

sequences that we have chosen in order for my group to accomplish this activity.

Overall, I feel motivated to do every activity in every subjects that I had because this second semester is

nearly wrapping up.
