Ready to achieve those?

Yes, Ma’am.

First, we have to know the

author of the story. So, who is Aesop
the author of the story?

Aesop was an ancient Greek storyteller

Who is Aesop? born around 620 BC as a slave.

We must know the Character

of the story by telling their role
using these pictures.
Allan - main Character
Old Lady- Help Allan
River Fairy- Fairy who gave axe to Allan
James - Antagonist

I am so glad that everyone of

you are interested two know
him. Moving forward, since
you know the background of
the author behind the honest
woodcutter, we can now jump
into its actual event, and for
you to better understand the
story, I have provided some
questions to analyze the
characters and other scenes
happened in the story.

Are you all ready? Yes Ma’am!

Where did Allan live?

Allan lives in the house of thieves.

Okay, very good. But after he

lives in the house of thieve, he
moved to a stranger’s house.
Allan suddenly lived in a stranger’s house
So, why do you think Allan
because he can’t manage the attitude of
suddenly lived in strangers
his friends.
house?

Okay, very good! Thank you

for your answer!

After that, because of his

good actions while staying in
the house of the old lady, she
gives her a gift to help him to
find a source of income, right?
What kind of gift do you think
the old lady gives to Allan? Ma’am, I think the gift that the old lady
gave to Allan is axe which is made by
wood.
Very good answer!

While Allan is going to his job,

the axe suddenly fell into the
river and he felt sad because
he thinks that if he loses the
axe, there will be no source of
income.

What do you think will happen

next? The fairy came out from the river. She
asked Allan if there is a problem, then
Allan said that his axe fell into the river.
The fairy shows the gold and silver axe,
and she asked Allan if which axe he
owns.
Very well said, it seems like
you really understand the
story!

And now since you understand

the story, what moral lesson
you have gotten?
The moral lesson that I’ve got in the story is
no matter what, we should always be
honest in every situation,
