My holidays 2023

Muhammad Hafiidz Akhsan

XI IPS 1 / 18

The story of my end-of-year holiday began with the first week when I fell sick due to fatigue from
activities on December 15-17, specifically wiradaya ascetic activities. Despite feeling unwell, I pushed
myself to socialize, thinking that staying at home would make my holiday seem wasted. I opted to
spend time with my middle school friends. Unfortunately, this led to another bout of illness, and I
only fully recovered after a week.

On Tuesday, December 26th, having recovered from my

illness, I fulfilled my prior plan and went for coffee at
Oetama Coffee.

On Wednesday, December 27th, my family invited me to swim at Umbul Sido Mulyo

Kalasan, as my aunt from Bekasi was visited Jogja. After swimming, we had soto for dinner
and headed home. In the evening, I played at the top of the figure with my elementary
school friends, watched live music, and savored the sunset until nightfall when everyone
went home.
On Thursday, December
28th, I fulfilled a long-
standing desire and played
Valorant at an internet cafe
with my middle school
friends.

On Friday, December
29th, I rode
motorcycles with my
elementary school
friends to Sermo
Reservoir and Glagah
Beach.

On Saturday, December 30th, I enjoyed

a day of swimming with my high school
friends at Umbul Sido Mulyo, followed
by a visit to Soto Saben for a meal.

•The new lesson I learned :Indeed, it's crucial not to force

yourself to play when you're unwell.
•The thing that makes me happy is :Meeting friends is truly
a source of joy and happiness.
•the thing that made me unhappy :Spending a week at
home due to illness was the aspect that brought
unhappiness.
