appreciation for the diverse cultures, histories,
and experiences that make up this vast continent.
Africa is often misrepresented and
misunderstood in mainstream media, so
conducting thorough research is essential to

From the vibrant markets of Marrakech to the historic pyramids of Egypt, Africa is
rich in both natural beauty and cultural heritage, making it a fascinating subject of

mind and a critical eye.

There is a long history of colonization, exploitation, and marginalization on the

continent, so it is crucial to interrogate the sources of information and consider
the biases and perspectives that may be present. By seeking out diverse
viewpoints and engaging with a variety of sources, i gain a more
comprehensive and holistic understanding of Africa and its people.
Furthermore, researching Africa can provide valuable insights into global issues

As globalization gripped Africa, Kenya is in the realm of embracing what the process
brings along. With technology, Kenya has led to a digital awakening. Kenya is now an IT
hub in Africa with some of the greatest innovations being born as a result. Few decades
ago, M-Pesa as mobile money transfer and other mobile banking services have
revolutionized Kenya. There are more people online using their mobile phones in Kenya
than in any other country in East and Central Africa.
Globalization has also led to international mobility among Kenyans. Kenya’s cheap
labour is making it a hub for the Export Processing Zones among other trade initiatives.
Thousands of Kenyans work-study and live abroad and many more are either going or
planning to go now. It has provided a lot of opportunities for Kenyans hitherto
considered impossible. People are learning new skills, new lifestyles, cultural diversity
and language everyday as globalization stretches its branches. This has led to
expansion growth of world trade.
Morocco's economic development and aspirations are closely linked to the English
language. The country has positioned itself as a regional hub for business and
entrepreneurship. In this context, English proficiency becomes essential for
international collaboration, attracting foreign investors, and fostering innovation.
English fluency enables Moroccans to engage in global markets, secure employment
opportunities, and contribute to the growth of various sectors, including technology,
finance, and tourism.
Furthermore, the emerging digital economy and the rise of remote work opportunities
have further heightened the significance of English proficiency. The ability to
communicate effectively in English opens doors to remote job opportunities and
freelancing, allowing Moroccans to connect with clients and employers from around the
world.

In our magazine entitled "African Heritage: Tapestry of Communication, Literature, and Global Influence," we explore the rich
cultural diversity and contributions of Africa and its selected countries: Egypt, South Africa, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya,
Democratic Republic of the Congo, Morocco, Nigeria, Mali, and Sudan. Let's delve into the fascinating aspects of these
countries, including their people or ethnic groups, religion, language, origin of language, history of communication, mediums
used, biggest contributions in contemporary writing and literary, and their greatest contribution to globalization throughout
the world.

Ethnic groups play a significant role in shaping the cultural landscape of a country. They are a grouping of people who
identify with each other based on shared attributes such as race, language, nationality, or culture. Each of the selected
African countries boasts a diverse range of ethnic groups, contributing to the vibrant tapestry of their respective cultures and
societies. The ethnic diversity within these countries fosters a rich heritage and a sense of unity among its people.

Religion is another crucial aspect of African culture. It serves as a foundation for many communities, shaping their beliefs,
values, and traditions. From ancient Egyptian mythology to the spread of Christianity, Islam, and indigenous religions, Africa's
religious landscape is diverse and deeply rooted in its history. Religion has played a significant role in shaping African
societies, influencing their communication practices, and contributing to their cultural identity.
Throughout history, Africans have utilized various mediums of communication to connect with one another. Before the advent
of modern technology, oral tradition played a vital role in transmitting knowledge, stories, and histories from one generation to
another. Today, while oral tradition remains significant, modern mediums such as radio, television, and the internet have
revolutionized communication in Africa, connecting people across vast distances and facilitating the exchange of ideas.

When it comes to contemporary writing and literary contributions, Africa has produced an array of influential authors
and literary works that have captivated readers worldwide. From Nobel laureates to emerging voices, African writers
have explored diverse themes, delving into social issues, cultural identity, and the human experience. Their works have
not only enriched African literature but have also made a profound impact on global literary movements, challenging
stereotypes and fostering a deeper understanding of African cultures.

Africa's greatest contribution to globalization lies in its rich cultural heritage and its profound influence on various
aspects of global society. From its vibrant music and art to its cuisine and fashion, Africa has left an indelible mark on
the global stage. African music, with its infectious rhythms and soul-stirring melodies, has transcended borders and
inspired artists worldwide. African art, with its vibrant colors and evocative storytelling, has captivated art enthusiasts
globally. Moreover, Africa's struggles and triumphs have inspired movements for social justice, diversity, and inclusivity,
fostering a sense of unity and interconnectedness among people around the world.

As we conclude our exploration of Africa's rich cultural legacy, it is evident that the selected countries of Egypt, South
Africa, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Morocco, Nigeria, Mali, and Sudan have made
significant contributions to communication, literature, and globalization. Through their diverse ethnic groups, rich
religious traditions, unique languages, historical communication practices, and influential literary works, these countries

As a part of an author in our magazine. I am assigned to discuss the
country of Africa that involves Egypt, South Africa, Mali, Nigeria, and
Ethiopia. Based on my point of view I observed that during those times in
Africa their way of communication is Hieroglyphic, Radio Broadcasting,
Newspaper, Eye Contact, Body Language, Nodding, Sound, Drum Talk,
Smoke Signals, Palm Frond, Ivory Horns and Long Brass and also The
Talking drum this is some of their ways on how to communicate with
each other. Before the existence of modern technology, Their way of
communication before is very useful to them because they can share
knowledge and ideas. Africa also has a greatest contribution in terms of
culture because of their rich heritage and their influence of their culture
in any aspect of globalization that starts in music and dance, religion
tapestry woven with diverse traditions and their cultural identity cuisine
and practices.
Also in this way of researching I can finally say that we are capable of
understanding their history by knowing what's their biggest contribution
in today's world or generation like me. These kind of research is very
helpful to me because their existence is very valuable need to treasure.

Exploring the communication histories of various African nations, such as the

Congo, Ghana, Sudan, Kenya, and Morocco, provides a unique and enriching
perspective.

As a writer, I find the rich oral traditions of the Congo, the storytelling skills of
Ghana, the adaptability of Sudan, the dynamism of Kenya, and the cultural tapestry
of Morocco to be not only inspiring but also enlightening. These peoples were able to
preserve their cultural heritage while adapting to new forms of communication, an
evidence to their resilience and adaptability. They provide valuable information
about how societies develop, adapt, and maintain their cultural identity in the face of
change. For the people of these nations, these histories are essential to preserving
their heritage and promoting unity in diversity.
For us, they offer a deeper understanding of the interaction of tradition and
innovation in shaping social narratives. Also, I was inspired by the power of these
stories to promote dialogue, initiate social change, and shape their identity. These
stories remind us of the power of our own stories to help us understand ourselves
and the world around us. They are a testament to the enduring influence of
storytelling and the tenacity of people to preserve their heritage in the midst of
change.

This research is not only a journey through time and space but also a journey
into the hearts of these peoples, revealing the depth of their cultural richness and the
strength of their identity. Janell Ronda

As a writer in history of the language in Africa my point of

view is that a significant fraction of the world's linguistic
variety is found in Africa. It is challenging to estimate the
overall number of languages spoken in Africa because many
of the continent's dialects are dialect continuums, new
languages are constantly being found, and others are dying
out. Africans are likely to speak at least two languages
fluently, and many also speak a third, frequently a European
one. Because a multilingual population can comprehend both
the language and customs of another, there is cultural
diversity, depth of expression, and open-mindedness.
