Seasons in the Philippines
The seasons in the Philippines are influenced by the wind systems that prevail
in it, its geographical location, the amount of rainfall it receives, and the temperature
patterns it is exposed to during a particular time.

Activities during wet season.

Generally, the Philippines has two pronounced seasons-wet and dry. The wet
or rainy season is characterized by frequent rainfall that usually occurs from June to
October. This season is favored by farmers because this is the time when they can
plant their crops. However, it also brings harm to some parts of the country
especially the coastal areas. The country is oftentimes visited by typhoons during the
wet season. Although storms and typhoons often hit the country during this season,
they do not limit people from engaging in activities that they enjoy doing. Some
people would still go to beaches on rainy season. They engage in water sports
activities such as water rafting, surfing and wakeboarding. People who would like to
sweat out and stay fit during the rainy season engage in indoor sport activities, such
as basketball, tennis, badminton, volleyball, and even swimming in the gym or resort.

The dry season occurs from April to May. During this season, the country
experiences less rainfall. The weather is generally fine and warm, so people engage
in outdoor activities in parks and beaches.
The dry season is also the right time for people to travel to other places, In the
Philippines, many local and foreign tourists visit summer destination.
