Lidec Level Alarm Switches

The Lidec L-91 series liquid sensing switches are

specially designed for marine applications requiring
a reliable liquid level alarm detection solution in
hydrocarbon products. The Lidec level switches
perform well in applications where:
✓ High level or overfill alarm detection is required
for tankers with on-deck mounting of
instrument
✓ On Line proof testing is required without
opening the Lidec limit switch housing
✓ Limit switch installation is preferred without any
calibration since the sensors on Lidec series are
not influenced by any type of fluid

The L-91 switches operate using mechanical wave propagation inside stainless steel modular probe.
The design is fully static, without vibration or moving parts. A "self-monitoring" function ensures
reliability for using sensors in safety systems. The principle used is positive safety whereby any failure
of probe, electronics or transducer triggers alarm, eliminating periodical cleaning or manual testing.
The L-91 is designed for installation on deck. The proven Lidec technology is insensitive to changes in
density, temperature or pressure, doing away with the need for calibration and ensuring quick and
simple commissioning.
