Section-1
Mandatory image extension verification to follow while upgrade/downgrade from 4.x to 4.x, 3.11.x to 4.x
and vice versa. This procedure is applicable on cnMaestro (On-Premise recommended version is 2.2.1-r36
and above) and standalone AP UI/CLI. This procedure will not be applicable on cnMaestro-Cloud, since
image upgrade/downgrade is automatic for APs.
Note
Refer the below table and validate the image extension w.r.t the version before proceeding to

bug fixes. No new features are added in System Release 4.2.3.1.
New features
System Release 4.2.3 adds support for the following new feature:
Traffic class can be defined under the WLAN profile and only three traffic classes are supported via CLI
mode. If APs are managed from cnMaestro, traffic class can be configured in AP Group using User-
Defined Overrides options. When the traffic class quota gets exhausted, user clients are redirected to the
external captive portal server.
Cambium Networks Wi-Fi devices support the following Cambium vendor-specific (VSA 17713) Traffic
Class attributes:
FLCN-12802 All Prevent Internet sharing using BLE/Wi-Fi tethering from the wireless
clients.
FLCN-12983 All Added timeout option in speedtest CLI for ETSI mode.
FLCN-13133 All Added 32-character username field support with spaces for ePSK.
FLCN-5625 All Wireless client Auth status was always reported as False.
FLCN-12558 All Clients were not able to get the IP address in some cases.
FLCN-12846 All Deauth wireless clients post DFS CAC when band steering was
enabled.
FLCN-13070 All In some cases speedtest process crashes with a memory error when
the timeout option was used.
FLCN-13098 All Configured session timeout in the Guest Access page did not get
honored in some cases.
FLCN-13163 All Dynamic VLAN assignment (such as VLAN pool, ePSK) should
restrict Broadcast/Multicast domain across VLANs.
FLCN-12136 e410 Unable to override passphrase of SSID when SSID contains special
haracter "." when created at group level (for example: dot).
Workaround: None.
FLCN-11072 All Client connection issues when XWF traffic class URL length exceeds 64.
workaround: None
FLCN-11024 All Client association fails if WLAN is configured with RADIUS ePSK and 11r.
Workaround: None.
