Detailed Lesson Plan in Mathematics

I. Objective: At the end of the lesson, the pupils should able to;
a. Recognize the numeral 10
b. Associate number with the correct number of objects, and
c. Count and write number 10.

A. Preparation
Class, we will have a game. Our
game is called “Vegetables in the
Market”. I will group you into two.
The pupils in the left side would be
group A and the pupils in the other
side would be group B. I placed
pictures of different vegetables in
your tables and there are numbers
on each vegetables. All you have to
do is to count how many vegetables
are there and place appropriately the
given numbers. The group who will
finish first will receive a prize.

C. Application
We will have an activity.

I will group you again into two.


The boys will be the group 1 and
the girls will be group 2. Six pupils
from both group will form a line.
The remaining pupils will hold a
tray. I prepared a paper fishing pond
of numbers for you. The pond has
different numbers on it. All you
have to do is to fetch the fishes
using the fishing rod and put the
fishes on the trays. Fetch only the
fishes which has number 10 attach
on it. The group who will get the
numbers correctly will be the
winner.
