PSYCHOSOCIAL SUPPORT ACTIVITIES 2022

Psychosocial support activities are imperative in promoting, protecting and

prioritizing the learner’s socio-emotional well-being as they transition back to in-person
classes. Accordingly, per DepEd Order No. 34, s 2022 entitled School Calendar and
Activities for School Year 2022-2023, psychosocial support activities must be conducted
during the first week of school year, beginning on August 22, 2022.
In line, the Libas Sud Integrated School conducted its Psychosocial Support
Activities conducted by the Adviser in each section in every grade level. In the process,
teachers begin the activity with warm greetings, checking everyone’s feeling and
welcoming all the emotions of the learners. Some learners in grade level were not
showing energy thus the adviser conduct energizer activity setting the mood for the
Psychosocial activity. As the mood were set, the Advisers introduce and conduct the main
activity in each Key Stages. Learners engaged with enthusiasm in performing the activity.
Some learners were observed to be shy with their classmates. But as the teachers
facilitate the activity their emotions were change into positive. The advisers synthesize
learnings and re-emphasize important points about the activity. Wrap up discussion was
also imposed by the advisers. After the sharing of the of every activity the adviser uplifting
activity using own energizer, dance or activity.
As to the interpretation and conclusion of the advisers, the learners were ready
and now set to be back in the face-to-face discussion with all eagerness and enthusiasm
to be part of this school year 2022-2023.
