Design Thinking Process

We have to ideate many wild ideas to pick up ideas that are unique and creative enough to
stand out from the crowd

Ideate: do screening, we are not looking for quantity, but rather quality

The design thinking process is not linear because there is a process that needs cycle and learning
→ redefines the problem, knows the customers' needs.
→ Involve in the process of picking out what works

Step 1: Empathize

Step 2: Define

Step 3: Ideate (Divergent thinking)

Look for ideas and go beyond ordinary ideas
Go for QUANTITY of ideas, NOT QUALITY → Use mindmap, not listing → unleash your
creativity
Look at the ideas and pick out which tackle most of the pain points → Make it to a list of most to least
priority

Step 4: Prototypes
To communicate conversations with the users
We can experience fail quickly and cheaply
BML: a cycle of Build → Measure → Learn helps to reduce uncertainties

Step 5: Test

Book: Value Proposition Strategyzer

the product (Ex: Be transported in a cool car/luxury transportation)
