1. Name at least 3 benefits of sleep.

2. Tell me how or if routines help with sleep.
Yes. It will help train your brain to get sleep at a more regular time.

3. What are at least 3 consequences of lack of sleep?


-Heart Attacks
-Obesity
-Stress
4. What can one do if they have trouble sleeping. Name at least three things you
can do.
Keep lights low, do something repetitive, listen to soft music.

5. What type of environment helps with sleep? For example, temperature, devices,
lighting, tv, etc. Explain why.
Low lights, low head, and minimal movement. It keeps your brain working at the
lowest capacity, which helps it rest.

6. Name one sleep disorder along with facts about it.


Narcolepsy is a sleeping disorder that controls the minds sleep-wake cycles.

7. How many stages of sleep are there? Tell me about each one.
1.Awake-Brain is working at full capacity
2.Light Sleep- Brain is close to rest, but parts of body still are in function
3.Deep Sleep- Brain is in complete rest, and recharging body
4.REM Sleep- When dreaming occurs, capable during both light and deep sleep.
