Study Visa Application Mandatory Documents

a) Have been issued within the previous 10 years, and the validity must not exceed 10 yrs
Passport/Travel Document b) At least have a validity of 3 months after intended stay
c) Have at least 2 blank pages

a) 2 signatures of the applicant (page 3- column 37 and page 4)

(Application forms for minors has to be signed by both the parents in both the places)

c) Travel dates to be mentioned

d) Please mention "N/A" wherever columns are blank

“Dichiarazione di Valore” (Declaration of Value) of the applicant’s educational certificates duly

legalized by the Consular office of this Embassy.
The local Institution or School should advise this Embassy directly in case it is not required.

Education Certificates duly Apostilled by Ministry of External Affairs

Documentation regarding the
applicant’s study Pre enrollment (Form A) duly stamped by the Italian Consulate and photo authentication for
students applying for Bachelor or Master of Science Degree
Acceptance of enrolment by the Italian School or Institution, stating the duration of course

Receipt of full payment of Tuition fees

Documentation regarding the Proof of means of support in Italy of not less than 5750 Euro per one year or 442,30 Euro for
applicant’s economic status for each month of the academic year in cash or traveler cheques or credit card/international debit
University Courses or Post graduated card with limits and Bank Statement of applicant or family supported by a letter of
courses commitment from the sponsor

Proof of scholarship in original.

Documentation regarding the applicant’s Where the amount of the scholarship does not satisfy the minimum established by law ( 5750
economic status for Scholarship: Euro per one year or 442,30 Euro for each month of the academic year) the difference should be
submitted in cash or traveler cheques or credit card/international debit card with limits and
Bank Statement of applicant or family supported by a letter of commitment from the sponsor

Accommodation Adequate proof of Boarding and Lodging

Photocopy( two copies of the front page, one copy of the last page and a copy of the page in
Passport copy of the applicant
case any observations are mentioned in the passport)
Covering travel Period with a coverage of Euros 30000 with inclusion of repatriation clause
Overseas medical insurance
For admission to Italian Universities is required for 1 month

Air Ticket For visa requesting less than 90 days a return flight ticket is required

For visa requesting more than 90 days the applicant has to submit his/her original (not
scanned) admission letter stapled along with the passport. At the time of collection of the
