Disciplines and Ideas in Social Sciences made me into a better student as there
are a lot of learnings that I have obtained that not only benefits me in academics but
also in real life. This subject has taught me to understand different aspects of society,
and how it works as a whole.

There are many topics that extend beyond my own understanding that have been
discussed during that semester. I learned about how the system of communication
works. That there is so much more in specifics when describing an exchange of
messages. There are differences in communication, and all are used for different
intentions. I have also learned about the works and benefits of social welfare, along with
consultation and how important it is to many individuals today.

This subject has let me expand my knowledge over what I had originally thought
as simple concepts. To the different kinds of institutions and the aspects of social
sciences, I gained a better understanding of how the more political side of society
works. A framework for comprehending historical occurrences and their effects on
society is provided by the social sciences. I obtained perspectives on how past events
impact the present and future developments by studying history. The subject also
provides understanding of international relations, globalization, migration, and

me navigate a world that is becoming more interconnected.

With all things considered, pursuing Disciplines and Ideas in the Social Sciences
offers a well-rounded education that prepares me for a variety of academic and
