Lunar New Year day of Vietnamese

Lunar New Year is an important days in the lives of Vietnam. Even thought (though) people who is living
and working in anywhere, they will try to arrange to return to reunite (come back) with their family at this
time. Can be divided Lunar New Year day into three stages which is before the New Year period, middle
festival and after festival. Each stage will be made give us have different sense of fun feeling.

Before the New Year stage: this is my best favourite stage time, a pleasure sense covere cover my body
me . On twenty three December 23rd lunar month, everybody will prepare a food tray including fruit,
flowers, jam, cakes, candles and a carp; everything will be plated put in front of the door to offer. This is
see off Kitchen God return to Heaven. And the next day, everyone focus concentrate repairing to repair
and, cleaning clean the house and buy necessary somethings such as clothes, new furniture, food for the
festival so on. The altar is the most sanctuary in each of Vietnamese every family, can not display the
same way but on every altar, need to have it will be full of important things as tray of five fruits including
. they are papayas, custard, mango, coconut, two big watermelon with two red parallel sentences, two
large candles, incense. In addition, each family also cooks eggs meat stock, bitter melon soup, pickled
scallion heads and rice cakes.

In the New Year stage time: at twelve the midnight on thirty December 30th lunar month, the New
Year’s Eve moment has come, all family members of the family don’t sleep to greet the new year and
firewoks. On the first day of New Year, everyone gets up early to garther gather for breakfast and New
Year’s greetings, children will receive red packet from the adults. Then people will go to the pagoda to
praying for their relatives peace and advantages business for their relatives. On the 2nd and 3rd people
going away or play card, New Year’s greetings to friends. The amusement parks are almost very crowd
because parents bring children here to play, very little uncrowded vehicle on the streets. alMost of
company, shops, markets, restaurant, schools are closed. Therefore, we can see the real true face of the
city.

After the New Year stage time,at the end of the fun holiday, people return to daily routine, Lunar New
Year is not only Vietnamese’s festival but also some countries in Asia such as China, Singapore, Taiwan.
Many foreign visitors are attracted by the tradition custom.
