Selecting the appropriate career path is becoming increasingly crucial for today's young students.

When
selecting a career and college major, students must consider a number of factors. This study's primary goal was
to look into the variables influencing first-year students' decisions about their degree program and school. It
employed a descriptive survey research design with first-year teacher education college students serving as
respondents. The researcher employed a self-administered, structured questionnaire that was modified and
adapted from multiple authorities in the field of education. The questionnaire covered all the variables on a four-
point Likert scale. Pupils overwhelmingly concurred that enrolling in the school and degree program of their
