Well continuing with the presentation, the next book that was brought to the

big screen is The Da Vinci Code. The author of this book is Dan Brown. He is a
well-known fiction writer, and his book, The Da Vinci Code, has topped the
best-seller list in Europe and the United States of America for months. The
book was published in 2003 with more than 79 million copies sold and
translated into 44 languages. The book begins with Robert Langdon when he
receives a call in the middle of the night, he learns that the curator of the
Louvre museum was murdered under strange circumstances and a
disconcerting encrypted message appeared next to his body. He carries out
an investigation because he is an expert in symbology, he discovers that the
clues lead to the works of Leonardo Da Vinci... and that they are visible to
everyone, these clues were hidden by the painter's ingenuity.
He meets the French cryptologist Sophie and they discover that the curator
of the museum belonged to the Priory of Sion, a society that over the
centuries had members such as: Sir Isaac Newton, Botticelli, Victor Hugo or
Da Vinci himself.
This book is an interesting mix of adventures, Vatican intrigues, symbology
and encrypted enigmas that caused an extraordinary controversy by calling
into question some of the dogmas about the Catholic Church.
finally comparing the book and the movie they are similar the director of the
movie made most of the details found in the book and there is not much
difference.
