    Dear Ma’am Posas:

    I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to formally request an


    absence for yesterday’s review session, in accordance with
    Memorandum Circular No. 2024-001 issued by the Department of
    Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region 8. The circular mandates
    the participation of all newly-elected and appointed Barangay and
    Sangguniang Kabataan Officials in the “Kalinisan sa Bagong Pilipinas
    Program.”

    As part of my official duties, attendance at this event is mandatory.


    Attached herewith is a copy of Memorandum Circular No. 2024-001 for
    your reference.

    I appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter.
