Excretory system is the collection of organs that help to remove waste product from the body . the
waste products includes sweat, Urea,Faces and so on.

Functions of the excretory System

It regulates the amount of water in the body

It filters the blood and eliminates waste produced by metabolism

It eliminates waste product such as urine, urea, ammonia and other chemicals products through urine.

Various organs of the Excretory system

Skin

Ureter

Bladder

Urethra

Kidney
Function of the organs of excretory system

Kidney: this is the body main organ in human excretory system. All human have a pair of kidney which
filters the blood , control blood pressure and make red blood cell.

Urethra: This is a tube that connects the bladder to the outside of the body.

Ureter: It carries urine away from the kidney to the bladder. It is a narrow tube that forces urine
downward away from the kidney.

Urinary bladder : It is a triangular hollow organ located at the lower abdomen. It stores urine.

Write a short note on the urinary system and its functions

Skin

This a sensitive part of the human organ. It covers the outer part of a veterbrate like mammal. It
contains melanin Which helps to determine the colour of the skin.The sensory receptor s located in the
dermis responds to sensation such as touch ,pain pressure, temperature and send them to the brain.
The brain send them back to the muscles for reaction.

Human skin is made up of three layers

Epidermis

Dermis

Subcutaneous fat

Other part of human skin are
