As a member of the National Honor Society, one of my RFK-AMBASSADORS
responsibilities includes participating in a lunchtime trash clean-up SCHOOL OF GLOBAL
initiative within our school. During lunch breaks, I join fellow LEADERSHIP (ASGL)
members of the National Honor Society in going around the school Los Angeles, CA
premises to collect and properly dispose of any litter or trash that
may have been left behind. This activity helps to maintain a clean High Honor Roll
and healthy environment for everyone at our school, promoting a
sense of responsibility and care among students. By actively

Support Group, MoTHER Movement, Tender Loving Care (TLC) LANGUAGES:


Family Caregiver Support, 2022 - present English, Dutch, Filipino
I have actively participated in events being conducted by the TLC
Family Caregiver Support, a program of the International MoTHER
Movement. As a member of this support group, I have been involved GPA:
in assisting in providing awareness and education on various topics
affecting the situation of unpaid caregivers. These topics include WGPA:
basic technology, health and nutrition education, and awareness
raising and prevention on various health issues. By participating in
these activities, the goal is to alleviate the feelings of loneliness,
depression, isolation, and sedentariness that caregivers may
experience.

Assistant, Cultural Diplomacy in Los Angeles, 2022 - present


As an active participant in cultural diplomacy, I have engaged with
the Philippine Consulate in Los Angeles to attend and participate in
various events, webinars, and cultural exchange programs. These
experiences have allowed me to deepen my understanding and
appreciation for the rich cultural heritage of the Philippines.
Through my involvement, I have contributed to fostering mutual
understanding and strengthening the bond between the Philippines
and the United States.

Environmental Club, 2022 - 2023


During my time as a member of the Environmental Club, I actively
participated in an initiative aimed at cleaning up my school
community. Our club conducted regular after-school sessions,
where we diligently collected trash and sorted recyclable materials
such as plastic and paper. By volunteering with this club, I
developed a strong sense of environmental responsibility and
teamwork. Additionally, this experience allowed me to contribute to
creating a cleaner and more eco-friendly school environment.

Editor, Yearbook Club, 2022 - present
As an editor for the yearbook at my high school, I help create and
put together the school's yearbook. I work with a team to review and
select photos, choose layouts and design elements, and write
captions and articles. I also make sure that everything looks nice
and is accurate before it goes to print. It's a fun and creative way to
contribute to preserving memories of our school year.

Vice-President, Karaoke Club, 2022 - present


As the Vice-President of the Karaoke club, my role is to help
organize and run our lunchtime karaoke sessions. During these
sessions, students have the freedom to choose any song they want
to sing and can perform solo or with others. I work with the club
president and other members to ensure that everything runs
smoothly, like setting up the equipment. Being a part of the Karaoke
club allows students to express themselves through music, have
fun, and build confidence in their singing abilities.

Cultural Officer, Filipino Club, 2022 - present


As a Cultural Officer of the Filipino Club, my role is to help high
school students learn about and appreciate our Filipino heritage. I
organize events and activities that allow students to explore Filipino
traditions, music, food, and customs. By participating in the club,
students gain a better understanding of Filipino culture and develop
an appreciation for diversity.

Secretary, Dance/HipHop Club, 2023 - present


As the Secretary for the Dance/Hip Hop club, my responsibilities
include assisting in organizing club meetings, taking notes during
discussions, and keeping track of important club information. I help
communicate important club updates and events to members,
maintain records of attendance, and assist the club leaders in
planning and coordinating activities. As a club, we work to create an
inclusive environment where students can explore their passion for
dance and hip hop.

Mentor, Gear Up for LA, Mentor, 2022 - present


As part of Gear Up for LA, I went on trips visiting colleges and got
extra help for my college applications. This included going to
different colleges to learn more about them and get advice on which
ones might be a good fit for me. I also attended workshops where I
got assistance with writing my application essays, preparing for
interviews, and finding scholarships. Being part of Gear Up for LA
helped me gain important skills and resources for my high school
resume and getting ready for college.

Member, Debate Club, 2022 - present


At debate club we have debates on different topics to improve our
thinking, speaking, and researching skills. We learn how to make
good arguments, practice speaking in front of others, and find
strong evidence to support our ideas. We also learn how to work
together as a team, solve problems, and respectfully discuss
different opinions. Being part of the debate club helps us become
better thinkers and communicators in a fun and engaging way.

As a former member of the Environmental Club at my high school, I
joined a group of students who cared about the environment. We
worked together to clean up our school by picking up trash and
making sure that paper and plastic were recycled properly. By doing
this, we wanted to make our school cleaner and show everyone the
importance of taking care of the environment. Through these
activities, I learned about teamwork and how to be responsible for
the environment.

As a former member of Art Club, I actively collaborated with fellow
members on artistic projects. This experience allowed me to
explore various art techniques, such as painting and drawing, and
further develop my skills in these areas. Additionally, I contributed to
the club's initiatives by organizing fundraisers, including
candy-grams for upcoming events organized by ASB, including our
highly anticipated Senior Prom. My involvement in the Art Club
invigorated my creativity and deepened my passion for visual arts.

As a member of my high school book club, I joined meetings and
voted on which books we should read. We would then come
together to talk about the books and share our thoughts. Being part
of the book club helped me develop my thinking and speaking skills.
