Sequence in text is where it refers to the order of words,

phrases and etc.

It is also a particular order in which related events,
movements, or things follow each other.
Sequence provides steps in a procedure or events in
chronological order.

2 TYPES OF SEQUENCE TEXT:

Process: a series of actions or steps taken in order to
achieve a particular end
Time Order: putting events in the order in which they
happened

EXAMPLE OF PROCESS:

IN ORDER TO MAKE A PANCAKE

First, sift the dry ingredients together.
Next, add the wet ingredients/stir to combine.
Then,scoop the batter onto the pan.
After that, cook it for atleast 2-3 minutes until there are
brown in the sides.
Finally, put the pancake in a plate and serve.

EXAMPLE OF TIME ORDER:
