I. Objectives: At the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:
a. define points and lines;
b. determine whether each object represent a points and a lines;
c. draw points and lines accurately; and
d. relate points and lines in real life situation.

Materials: Visual Aids, Pictures, Flash Cards

A.Preliminary Activity

B. Lesson Proper

a.Activity

Group task: In this activity the students will group the object into two
groups, one for tiny dots represent as a POINT and one for longer, thinner
shapes represent as a LINE.

 The class will divide into 2 groups.


 Each group will have 6 representative only.
 They only have 3 minutes to finish the task.
b.Analysis

At this time, I have prepared some questions so that I can know if you
gained knowledge based our activity and the pictures earlier.

Guide Questions:

1.What did you do in our activity?


2.What is real life examples of points and Lines?
3.From our Activity, Who could guess our topic for today?

c.Abstraction

 Engage the class in a discussion about everyday objects that represent


points, lines, line segments, and rays. Encourage students to share
examples they can find in their surroundings.
d.Application

 Group task: In this activity the students will going to determine if the
statements are True or False:
 I’ll provide you banner with a labeled ‘true’ or ‘false.’ Your task is to
determine if this question implies ‘true’ or ‘false.’
 “Whoever among the 2 groups raises the correct banner first will earn
points.”

2.Crayon. Question: “Is it True or False that a crayon is a type of point?”
3.A piece of string. Question: “Is it True or False that a piece of string is a
