The given maps provide detail of the changes taking play in the rural of Eastb over a ten-year
period between 1999 and 2009
As can be seen the map, it is evident that this town witnessed a striking transformations. Most
remarkably, there were noticeable changes in the area south of the river
Looking at the pictures, the river divided the map into 2 areas, In the north of the town, the
woodland at the top left-hand corner was chopped down to make way for adventure park. The
large house with gardens was demolished and replaced by hotel with golf course. The houses
and the park still exist but had changed in size, while the houses in the top hand expand, the
park in the right-hand corner had shrunk.
