Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism is considering to choose Nha Trang University as the host of

Miss Student pageant. Write a report to assess its suitability.

I. Introduction

This is the report commissioned by Minister of Culture to assess the suitability of NTU for organizing
board of Miss Student pageant. As requested by Minister, some aspects need to be considered such as
location, facilities, accommodation and experience.

II. Location

NTU is located near the city centre , which just go straight on Tran Phu Street to the north of Nha Trang
city. Nha Trang Beach is recognized as one of Vietnam's most beautiful beaches. It is therefore easily
available by public transport such as bus, taxi with variety of routes from many places and has ample
free parking. From Cam Ranh International airport to NTU has just 40 km. So, it is convenient for
transferring. On the other hand, as it is in the city centre there are traffic jams on the roads to the
university at times. There are a lot of road works near NTU.

III. Facilities

The Hall 3 of NTU offers an admirable range of facilities. This is one of the biggest hall at NTU. It is
modern and well-equipped with standard systems such as projector, microphones and loud speakers, air
conditioners, light and sound systems. In addition, The stage is extremely wide and audience area has
approximately 600 seats. However, there is no changing room and small rest-room, which means that
people would have to get dressed at hotel or home.

IV. Accommodation

NTU could be offer wide range of dormitory rooms to accommodate contestants, organizers and
spectators. There are also many motels and hotels nearby with reasonable price. Modern security
cameras are installed in both the exterior and interior of NTU to ensure public safety. Further more,
campus with beautiful scenery which is near the beach. However, there are any restaurants in the
campus, so contestants and spectators have difficulty in finding a place to eat. The foods tastes sweet in
here is suitable to contestants from other regions.

V. Experience

Organizers has valuable experience in organizing competition within the university scope. The majority
of the event's participants and organizers are school staff, with volunteers contributing support.
Nevertheless, they have never had experience in hosting any national competition. An expanded
program organization scale requires the organizing committee to supplement with skilled human
resources.
 VI. Recommendation

To sum up, NTU would be able to provide the facilities necessary for organizing Miss Student pageant.
Most importantly, it has a wide stage with modern systems and enormous seats for audience. Specially,
there no need paying the cost of hiring the Hall 3. It is believed that NTU would be ideal for organizing
board of Miss Student pageant.
