1. What are the three (3) things that you significantly learned from the reading? Please
start by saying ' Before reading the article, I used to think that (insert thought). After
Before reading the article, I used to think that there is no treaty regarding the sexual
role of a person. After reading the article, I now think that in the recent year’s woman was
fighting for their rights and with that constant flow of improvements one by one woman
right was finally come. Before reading the article, I used to think that it was just recent
issue regarding the discrimination of genders and that it was from a few years issue when
it comes trending. After reading the article, I now think that there are laws before that we
the present can’t handle now specially the law about the same sex couple that they said
violate a certain article. Before reading the article, I used to think that humans right are
just a law that let people do what they want but it should be not illegal or something will
happen. After reading the article, I now think that human rights law simply not protect
people from discrimination specially that it let people to have their own freedom to talk.
2. What three (3) things about the reading are unclear to you?
The first thing that is still unclear tome about the reading is about the “Optional
Protocol to the Covenant on Economic, Social, and Cultural Rights”. I have some difficulty
understand it. The second thing that is still unclear to me about the reading is about the
“Statement on human rights, sexual orientation and gender identity in the UN General
Assembly.” It is a bit confusing on what they actually pointing out or something similar like
that. The last thing that is still unclear to me regarding the reading is about the “New
Information and Communication Technologies” which is just still unclear and have yet to

The first question that I have wanted to ask about the reading is why does it matter
