The purpose of this manual is to act as an instruction guide for the operation of
the locomo tive and its equipment.
本手册为操作该机车及其设备提供了指导。
This manual is intended for railroad personnel who may operate the freight
locomotive.
本手册为能操作该货运机车的乘务员而编制。
This manual describes the function of the elements of the locomotive, but it
does not claim to cover all details of installations and operations of all
subsystems and devices.
本手册描述了该机车各组件的功能,但没有包括所有安装组件的详细资料和所有
子系统及设备的操作。
This document describes the freight locomotive, but it does not substitute valid
rules of the operating company.

The locomotive is designed for freight traction. They can run multiple with max.
three locomotives.

The mechanic and electronic equipment, the cubicles and the cabinets are
located at the right and left side of the machinery room. The middle corridor is
an unobstructed escape route for the crew in the event of an emergency.

Cables and air pipes are mostly placed in separate conduits under the corridor
so that they are accessible from above.

Tractive and brake forces are assigned via the wheel set steering link (7) from

The bogie frame is a simple, closed frame with two offset longitudinal beams,
which are connected together by two solid transverse beams in the middle and
two end beams. All the beams are made of welded box sections. All the

Connection rope is used for connecting bogie and carbody and withstanding

composed of ring, bow-shape unbuckle, pin axle, nut and opening pin, etc. 整

3.5.3 Ventilation branch of auxiliary filter cubicle 辅助滤波柜通风支路
The function of ventilation and heat dissipation branch of auxiliary filter cubicle is to

The whole locomotive totally has 2 ventilation branches of the auxiliary filter cubicle.

The function of ventilation branch in machine room is to cool the air temperature in the
machine room, maintain the positive pressure in the machine room and prevent
external dust, rain and snow entering the locomotive.
机械间通风支路的作用是用来冷却机械间空气温度,并维持机械间正压,防止车
外灰尘、雨雪等杂物进入车内。
The cooling air of the machinery room ventilation branch is provided by the auxiliary
filter cubicle fan. The cooling air from the auxiliary filter cubicle fan cools the
machinery room and maintains the positive pressure. Due to the positive pressure, the
machinery room hot air which heated by compressor and other equipments exhausts to
the outside through the side wall filter, thus it plays a role in reducing the air

Signal processing box is installed in the low voltage cubicle. Magnetic sensor is
installed in the bogie.
The signal processing box detects by means of magnetic sensors the beginning and
ending of neutral section. The processing box sends the signals to loco control system.

By detecting the magnet of neutral section installed on the ground beside the rail, the
processing box sends signal of “get into the neutral section area” or “has passed the neutral
