Emphasis – It is making a part stand out in order to draw

Variety – Use of different colors shapes and size to create interest

Balance – Arranging the element of art so that there is a quality – shows quality on both sides

Unity/Harmony – Pleasing arrangement of parts to create a feeling of oneness

Repetition – Repeating of one element that will cause the viewer eye to move around to each element

Movement – Shows an action motion
