I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:
 Identifies the common musical instruments by their sounds and image
 Attempt the sounds of different musical instruments; and
 Demonstrate the sound of musical instrument.

1. Prayer

Musical Instrument and the different
musical instruments.

III. ABSTRACTION

Now everybody read what is Musical


Instrument.

MUSICAL INSTRUMENT – Musical


instrument are the devices that are used to
play and produce some musical sound.
These instrument are used to produce or
make music.

Ok so musical instrument is really important


especially in producing or making music, (children reading out loud)

Now there are different types of instruments

The percussion, woodwind, string, brass and Yes, sir.


keyboard.

Please all read.

PERCUSSION – percussion instrument is a


musical instrument that is sounded by being
struck or scrape by a beater including
attached or enclosed beater, or struck by
another similar instrument.

WOODWIND – woodwind instrument are


characterized by a cylindrical or conical
tube of wood or metal, it’s the type of
instrument that you play by blowing into its
mouthpiece.

STRING – are instrument that produce


sound from vibration of stretch strings when (learners are reading)
it played.

BRASS – are musical instrument made of


metal, typically brass, in which sound
produced by the vibration of air through
cylindrical chamber.

KEYBOARD – is a musical instrument


played using keyboards, a row lever pressed
by fingers.

IV. APPLICATION
(learners are reading)
Now for your activity with the same group
earlier, I need each group to choose their
leaders and pick one types of musical
instrument and draw one example of it with
your groups and demonstrate it.

Instruction: Draw an example of musical


instrument and show it to the class how it
played and what is the sounds like?
I’ll give you 10 minutes Ok sir!
