Bacteria Cell Model Project in General Biology

Objective: Construct a cell cycle model using plastic bottles, styrofoam, glues, paint, clay, candle,
and cutter over three days.

Day 1: Preparation (March 19, 2024)

1. Gather materials: Plastic bottles, styrofoam, glues, paint, clay, candle, and cutter.

2. Plan design: Brainstorm and sketch model layout.

3. Allocate tasks: Assign roles to team members.

4. Set up workspace: Ensure clean, well-lit area.

Day 2: Construction (March 20, 2024)

1. Assemble model: Use plastic bottle and styrofoam as base.

2. Shape stages: Cut the styrofoam into a small circle and stick it at the bottom of the plastic bottle.

3. Detailing: Paint, use clay for finer elements, and stick the cut-out plastic bottles, which serve as a
"pilus," around the base.

4. Quality check: Ensure accuracy and adherence to design.

Day 3: Finalization (March 21, 2024)

1. Complete construction: Add final touches to model.

2. Review and document: Evaluate progress and challenges.

3. Cleanup: Dispose of waste and organize works.
